Types of Stitches in CrochetingBasic
Stitches Double Crochet ? In this method, as you have done in single crochet, you will be passing the hook from the front to the back of the work through the stitched upper loop of the previous row. The thread is drawn through this loop with the help of the hook. Half-Double Crochet ? It is a hybrid of both a single crochet and a double crochet stitch. In this method, you will be beginning with a yarn over, inserting the hook into a stitch, yarning over again and pulling through the stitch; doing another yarn over and pulling through the three loops residing on your hook. Triple
Crochet ? This basic stitch is of high order and the last of basics.
To achieve a triple crochet, you have to yarn over the hook twice; insert
the hook into the stitch, yarn over again and pull through the first
of two loops (the two loops that stay closest to the end point); yarn
over again and pull through the next two loops (yes, it is twice yarning
over and pulling over the next two loops). Finally, yarn over one last
time (third in succession) and pull through the remaining two loops. | Some of the terms used in Crochet | Submission of Crocheters ideas | Technique like Single Half double Double and Treble crochet | Techniques in Crocheting | The Button and Cluster Stitch | Tips on using the chains | Tools Markers Needles etc for Crocheting | Turning chains for stitch | Types of Stitches in Crocheting | Yarn and Chain Stitch Technique | Yarns that do not go well with Crochet |
